STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE...
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and in its original writing is the complete and final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can we overcome this barrier.
Salvation is not by works, but by the grace of God received by personal faith in Jesus Christ.
God has revealed himself in three persons -- the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All are equal and one.
>Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is both fully God (equal with God the Father in essence and attributes) and fully human (He was born of the virgin Mary and was like us in every way except that he had no sinful nature and committed no sin.) He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us today. Jesus’ death paid the penalty for our sins.
The Holy Spirit is the initiator and sustainer of our relationship with God. At the point of salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells all believers to become our source of assurance, strength, and wisdom -- our Comforter and Counselor. He is God in spirit, giving us power over all spiritual forces of evil. All his manifestations are for the common good, building up the body of Christ.

Pastor Bill Stiebs
Pastor Bill H. Stiebs is the founding pastor of Cornerstone Christian Church of New London. He completed his Biblical studies through RHEMA Bible School and he earned his bachelor's degree in theology from the International Seminary, Plymouth, Florida. He also completed Christian counseling coursework with the American Assoc. of Christian Counselors and is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. Pastor Bill is ordained through the International Ministerial Fellowship, Minneapolis, MN.
Pastor Malcome Hathorne
Pastor Malcome Hathorne completed pastoral studies through the U.C.C. Academy located in Madison, WI. He is continuing his education with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Pastor Malcome is licensed by the International Ministerial Fellowship, Minneapolis, MN.
